What We Repair

Most Sign Problems Are Fixable.

Replacing a sign is expensive. Repairing one usually is not. These are the calls we take every week around Lexington.

Dark Sign / Lighting Failure

Dead LED modules, failed power supplies, bad photocells, and burnt ballasts. We carry common parts, so most lighting calls are one visit rather than two.

Cracked or Faded Faces

Acrylic and polycarbonate face replacement, panel refacing, and vinyl overlays for signs that are structurally fine but look neglected.

Storm & Wind Damage

Kentucky storm season takes out canopy fascia, cabinet faces, and pole signs. We make the site safe first, then repair.

Pylon & Monument Repair

Roadside signs are the hardest to reach and the most expensive to ignore. Bucket truck crews handle the height and the traffic control.

Structural & Mounting

Loose cabinets, rusted brackets, failing raceways, and mounts that need re-anchoring before they become a liability.

Repair vs. Replace Assessment

A straight answer on whether a sign is worth repairing. If replacement is the better call, we say so and quote both.

Common Questions

Sign Repair in Lexington, Answered.

How fast can you get to a sign repair in Lexington?

Lexington and the surrounding counties are our home service area, so most repair calls are scheduled within the same week. Genuine emergencies — a sign that is a safety hazard, or storm damage blocking a site — get triaged ahead of routine work. Call (859) 576-1489 rather than using the form if the situation is urgent.

Do you repair signs you did not install?

Yes, and that is most of what we do. Sign repair is a separate trade from sign fabrication. We regularly service signs built by shops that no longer exist, or by manufacturers several states away.

My sign is dark but the power seems fine. What is wrong?

Usually one of three things: failed LED modules, a dead power supply, or a photocell that is no longer switching. All three are common and all three are repairs rather than replacements. We diagnose on site instead of quoting blind.

Is it cheaper to repair the sign or replace it?

It depends on the cabinet and the structure. If the housing and mounting are sound, repair is almost always cheaper — often dramatically so. If the cabinet is corroded through or the structure is failing, repair money is wasted. We will tell you which situation you are in and quote both options when it is a close call.

Do you handle permits for sign repair?

Like-for-like repairs usually do not require a permit. Changes to size, height, illumination, or structure often do. We handle Lexington-Fayette and surrounding jurisdiction permitting when a job needs it, so a repair does not turn into a code problem.
